He has a series about Otis the Tractor and he is the illustrator of President Obama’s picture book Of Thee I Sing.
The insurance giant Northwestern Mutual wants to build a $400 million office tower, that would be at least 30 stories tall, on the corner of Cass and Mason, in downtown Milwaukee. It would replace a 16-story building from the 1970s.
Next week, Milwaukee will host its first TEDx event – TED, standing for technology, entertainment and design. TED conferences are motivational gatherings that have been taking place across the country since 1990, but seem to be growing in popularity, lately.
Wisconsin is not the first state to question its universities’ books according to Kevin Kiley, a reporter with the online publication Inside Higher Education. Kiley says other states have also assumed they’ve stumbled upon a surplus, then learned otherwise.
