Walker Raises $3.5 Million

Scott Walker's trips outside the state have likely helped his fund raising during the first half of the year.

Despite a sizable lead over a future Democratic opponent, one political scientist says Republican Scott Walker's fund raising success does not assure him victory in a race for a second term.

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker raised $3.5 million during the first half of 2013, far more than the last six months of 2012 when he collected $474,000.
