Album of the Week: Like the 1st Time By: Clarence Bucaro

More often than not, music artists take a good amount of time to think, write, record and produce a final product in the form of an album. It is typically a process that evolves over the course of its creation, but occasionally, everything will align perfectly and an album is created in a much shorter period of time; three days to be exact. One of these albums is the upcoming eighth release, Like the 1st time, from Clarence Bucaro.

The album’s name reflects the feeling that Bucaro got while recording the songs and how it reminded him of the process of recording his first album. Bucaro always tries to explore new creative territory in order to keep his music sounding fresh and inspired. This time around the roots artist explores everything from very profound subjects like never knowing where your life will go and deep seeded love. It also finds the singer/songwriter talking about his worldly travels and different life experiences that have lent to his current sense of self. Bucaro’s expressive and moody voice and his ability to control it masterfully only add to the message found within each song and the overarching sound.
