There are parts of our planet where most of us will never have the opportunity to travel. But thanks to people like Cory Trepanier, we still have the opportunity to see them.
Trepanier is an explorer, artist, and filmmaker, whose traveling exhibition about his arctic expeditions is currently on display at the Neville Public Museum in Green Bay. Aptly named Into the Arctic, the exhibit features Trepanier’s oil paintings and several documentaries about his expeditions. He just released the third installment of the films,Into the Arctic: The Last Chapter.
He set off on yet another expedition, although this one was a bit closer to home: He took the ferry to Milwaukee, where he met with Lake Effect’s Joy Powers and David Wagner, the producer and manager of the exhibition.
