Hart, who's spent his career with Milwaukee, signed a one-year contract with the Seattle Mariners, pending a successful physical exam.
Hart played both outfield and first base for the Brewers, but he did not see action in 2013 because of a knee injury.
He had a successful 2012 season however, hitting 30 home runs and 81 RBIs, while batting .270.
