Elections Plan Would Limit Recalls, Allow Corporate Campaign Donations

Assemblyman Jeff Stone is seeking co-sponsors for his plan to enact major election rule changes in Wisconsin.

Under the Greendale Republican's plan:

-- Corporations could make campaign contributions

-- Citizens could recall local elected leaders, only if they're accused of a crime or ethics violation

-- Citizens could not use electronic identification to register to vote

-- Low-income voters would not need to present a photo ID

-- Candidates would be charged more for recounts

-- School boards could not use tax money to publicize information about referendums to exceed revenue limits
