Friday on Lake Effect: Financial Impact of Fewer Flights, Contagious Kindness, Good Samaritan Law

Friday on Lake Effect:

The number of airlines that fly out of General Mitchell International Airport has decreased and the number of flights has shrunk along with it. But is that having a broader impact on the city’s fortunes as a whole? Then, a Kansas City filmmaker stops in Milwaukee and 11 other cities and hopes her acts of kindness are contagious. Later, we discuss Wisconsin’s new Good Samaritan Law and some other important things to know about caring for pets during the summer. Plus, we’ll have some travel suggestions for long weekends and the latest episode of Bubbler Talk.

Guests:

  • Larry Sandler, Milwaukee Business Journal
  • Sue Vicory, filmmaker
  • Karen Sparapani, Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission
  • Stacy Tornio, Lake Effect contributor
  • Bubbler Talk, series
