Heat May Have Caused Man's Death

An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday, to determine the cause of death of a man in Milwaukee.

The man was pronounced dead at a home, around 7:00 Wednesday morning.

His core body temperature was 104 degrees, indicating that his death may have been related to the heat. On Tuesday, the high temperature was 95 degrees, with a heat index of 101.

The City of Milwaukee Health Department says there were five heat-related deaths during a heat wave in mid-July.
