Lake Effect Weekend: 'The Color of Law,' Canoeing the Canadian Wilderness, Ex Fabula

This weekend on Lake Effect:

We look at the far-reaching impact of federal housing policies that encouraged and caused segregation in communities throughout the United States. Then, we meet Marquette grad Brian Castner, who canoed 1,200 miles through the Canadian wilderness during the summer of 2016. Plus we’ll have the latest in our storytelling series, Ex Fabula.

Guests:

  • Richard Rothstein, author, The Color of Law: A Forgotten History of How Our Government Segregated America
  • Brian Castner, author, Disappointment River
  • Leah DeLaney, Ex Fabula co-founder; Bruce Winter, WUWM
