UWM will offer a new master’s degree in sustainable peacebuilding, with applications opening in fall 2013. The new degree combines natural sciences, social sciences and humanities.
The goal of the interdisciplinary program is to prepare graduates to be able to work with many kinds of specialists - military leaders, agriculture experts, environmentalists and business leaders. Possible career paths include international development, post-conflict reconstruction, poverty reduction and sustainable resource development.
Host Tom Luljak speaks with Rob Ricigliano, director of the UWM Institute for World Affairs, and Tim Ehlinger, faculty director of the MSP program.
