Milwaukee's Rufus King H.S. Wins National Award
Rufus King in Milwaukee has won ACT's national College and Career Transition Award for high schools.
Milwaukee's Rufus King H.S. was awarded the ACT award partly based on its student growth, aggregate ACT scores, and its demonstrated success in serving students from underrepresented racial/ethnic/socioeconomic backgrounds, according to a release from MPS. The national award is the latest for the school at 18th and Olive. King was ranked the best schools in Wisconsin in 2013 by two national publications.
