Milwaukee police shot a man early Thursday, after officers say he fired a gun and refused to drop it. They had been summoned to a gas station near Sherman and Burleigh around 2:00 A.M., by someone who reported a fight underway.
According to the medical examiner's office, the suspect has died. The officers were not injured and have been placed on desk duty while the police dept. investigates the circumstances.
