The Milwaukee Police Department says one of its officers was arrested Wednesday.According to the MPD, Sgt. Alex Lopez, a 16-year veteran of the department, is accused of stalking and sexual assault. He’s jailed in Waukesha County, while the Milwaukee County district attorney’s office reviews the case.
The Milwaukee Police Department says Lopez became the subject of an internal investigation, after a woman, with whom he had a relationship in the past, filed a complaint.
