While Milwaukee awaits construction of a 32-floor Northwestern Mutual office tower, work will begin on new passageways along the downtown lakefront.
Following fanfare last week over Northwestern Mutual’s planned office tower, City Development Commissioner Rocky Marcoux says the first changes people will notice will be reshaped roadways and freeways ramps. They'll provide easier access to Milwaukee’s lakefront and Historic Third Ward, where Marcoux says there has long been a disconnect.
