Small Drop in Gas Prices

According to a weekly survey, the average price at the pump is $3.46. GasBuddy.com tallied the average price for a gallon of gas at 615 stations in Milwaukee on Sunday.

The survey indicates the price dropped 0.8 cents per gallon in the past week. The cost was 21.2 cents per gallon lower than a month ago, and 37.8 cents per gallon lower than the same day last year.

The national average on Sunday fell 0.4 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.57.

GasBuddy.com Senior Petroleum Analyst Patrick DeHaan says the national average has been “remarkably quiet.” However, DeHaan says that could change, due to a “sizable” decline in gasoline inventories last week.
