Sunday's Storm Dropped 8-12 Inches of Snow Across Milwaukee County

S Bence

The big dig-out continues with some slippery intersections. For a lot of us, we need to do a full shovel today, after making just a narrow path yesterday.

Mike Westendorf of UWM's Innovative Weather recaps the snowstorm and looks ahead.

Kenosha County received the most snow with 14 inches. Milwaukee and Waukesha Counties saw accumulations ranging from eight to 12 inches.

Westendorf noted that Sunday's storm was the biggest since February of 2011.

As the clean-up continues, We Energies is urging people to be careful not to throw snow against gas meters or air intake pipes. Instead, make sure both are free of snow and ice.
