The intersection between homelessness and AIDS is the focus of a new study by two Milwaukee researchers. Then, 13 years after 9/11, a Lake Effect essayist shares some thoughts on the slow erosion of our privacy. We get fall gardening tips from contributor Melinda Myers, and singer songwriter Slaid Cleaves chats with Mitch Teich and performs some songs in the studio.

Guests:

  • Julia Dickson-Gomez and Steve Pinkerton, professors of psychiatry and behavioral medicine at the MCW and researchers with the Center for AIDS Intervention Research
  • Steve Brandl, Lake Effect essayist and Professor of Criminal Justice at UWM
  • Melinda Myers, gardening expert
  • Slaid Cleaves, singer/songwriter
