Thursday on Lake Effect:
Today on the show, our Project Milwaukee series on the high rate of incarceration among black men in Wisconsin continues with a story on local efforts to help former inmates find gainful employment once they return to their communities. Then, we'll learn about the appeal of seeing Milwaukee's lakefront by boat, traveling at four or five miles an hour - just like the first westerners to visit our shores. An exhibit in West Bend features handicrafts commissioned in Wisconsin during the Great Depression; and a young, self taught photographer finds his greatest inspiration in his home town – Milwaukee.
