Tuesday on Lake Effect: End of Walker's Campaign, Ammo Plant into Recreation Area, Precious Lives

Tuesday on Lake Effect:

It was a rapid rise, and a precipitous fall – we’ll break down the news that Scott Walker is ending his campaign for President. Later, plans move forward to open a recreational area in south central Wisconsin on the site of a former ammo plant. The new production at Milwaukee Chamber Theatre is based on the remarkable correspondence of two remarkable – and very real poets, plus the latest installment of our series on youth and gun violence in Milwaukee, Precious Lives.

Guests:

  • Ken Vogel, POLITICO; & Mike Wagner, School of Journalism and Mass Communication at UW-Madison
  • Rob Nurre, Sauk Prairie Conservation Alliance, Frank Nobile, Tripoli Rocketry Association of Wisconsin, and Bryan Much, off highway motorcycle advocate; Susan Bence, WUWM Environmental Reporter
  • Norman Moses & Carrie Hitchcock, Milwaukee Chamber Theatre
  • Precious Lives
