Tuesday on Lake Effect: Imprisoned Journalists, World Economy Expansion, Breast Cancer Across Races

Tuesday on Lake Effect:

We talk with Iranian journalist Maziar Bahari, who shares the story of his incarceration and his work on behalf of other imprisoned journalists. Later, a writer had long wanted to share the sobering story of an old acquaintance who went to work for Foxconn in China. Then, economies around the world continue to expand, but are there question marks on the horizon? And a Milwaukee researcher works to understand why the odds of dying from breast cancer vary greatly based on race and ethnicity.

Guests:

  • Maziar Bahari, journalist
  • Dan Simmons, writer
  • Bill Adams, Economist for PNC Bank
  • Alice Yan, professor at UWM's Zilber School of Public Health
