Tuesday on Lake Effect: Milwaukee's Aging Infrastructure, Precious Lives, 'Sit Stay Heal', NRBQ

Tuesday on Lake Effect:

Researchers from the Public Policy Forum take a close look at Milwaukee's aging transportation infrastructure, including roads, bridges, and county buses. Then, our Precious Lives series pays tribute to its former host and veteran Milwaukee journalist, Eric Von, who passed away last week. Milwaukee writer Mel Miskimen shares the out-of-body experience of hearing the audio book version of her own memoir. And essayist Tom Matthews sings the praises of the New Rhythm & Blues Quartet (NRBQ).

Guests:

  • Rob Henken and Ben Juarez, Public Policy Forum
  • Precious Lives, series
  • Mel Miskimen, writer, Sit Stay Heal: How an Underachieving Labrador Won Our Hearts and Brought Us Together
