Gov. Walker will attend the Iowa Freedom Summit on January 24, along fellow Republican Govs. Christie of New Jersey and Rick Perry of Texas.
The event is being sponsored by conservative-leaning Citizens United and Iowa GOP Congressman Steve King.
Walker's office says he is looking forward to "sharing the story of Wisconsin's successful reforms."
Other confirmed guests, besides the governors, include former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee and Texas Senator Ted Cruz.
This month, Walker began his second term as Wisconsin's governor. Comments and national trips he has made, indicate he is considering a possible run for the White House in 2016.
