  Sara Krajewski is the director of Inova (Institute of Visual Art), the contemporary art gallery and research center of the Peck School of the Arts at UWM. On UWM Today, she discusses the prestigious Curatorial Fellowship from the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts that she was awarded, her research in connection with the fellowship and how it may influence Inova’s future. Sara also covers current and upcoming exhibitions and how those exhibitions relate to UWM’s Year of the Arts.

  On this edition of UWM Today, host Tom Luljak meets two UWM faculty members who are collaborating on a research project that combines neuroimaging and the Alexander technique, a system that dances have used for more than 100 years. Developed in the 1890s, the Alexander technique helps make people aware of energy-wasting physical efforts, even little motions. In theory, improved awareness can help people train their bodies to move more efficiently and effectively.
