The five executives have often been involved in urban economic development efforts and will now help create plans for a new basketball arena.

While reports percolate about Herb Kohl possibly selling the Milwaukee Bucks and putting proceeds toward a new basketball arena, a local group is taking a stand.

The Milwaukee Bucks have the NBA's second worst record so far this season, as well as the fourth lowest attendance record in the league. But some in their hometown hope a new arena could open a new chapter for the team.

Workers must resurface the team's 'new' floor.  It was so slippery during a preseason game last week, that play was halted.


The Milwaukee Bucks will open their home basketball season November 2nd against the Toronto Raptors.  As they have since 1988, they’ll call the BMO Harris Bradley Center home.
