Walker Raises $3.5 Million

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker raised $3.5 million during the first half of 2013, far more than the last six months of 2012 when he collected $474,000.

Gov. Scott Walker has a healthy start, heading into what's expected to be his 2014 bid for re-election. According to the numbers he filed Monday, he's raised $3.5 million so far in 2013.

Federal Judge William Conley has issued a preliminary injunction that prevents the Walker administration from enforcing requirements intended to limit demonstrations at the state capitol.

Wisconsin has asked for permission from the federal government to change its health care program for the poor – BadgerCare Plus. Wednesday, leaders will hold the first of three town hall meetings to explain the changes.
