290,000 Wisconsin People Voted Early

Election clerks will count absentee ballots, after regular finishing with those cast in person on Tuesday, Election Day.

According to the state Government Accountability Board, the 290,000 total would surpass the number of absentee ballots cast in Gov. Walker's 2012 recall election, by nearly 25,000.

The GAB reports that 16,000 absentee ballots have not yet been returned. People who received them, must make sure they are postmarked by Nov. 4 and arrive in the clerk's office by 4:00 Friday afternoon.
