Incumbent Tony Evers and former Whitnall Superintendent Lowell Holtz will continue to vie for the jobof Wisconsin's Superintendent of Public Instruction, with the general Election set for April 4.
The two men earned the most votes in Tuesday's primary for schools chief, with Evers garnering 70 percent and Holtz picking up 23 percent, both easily knocking out the third candidate, former Dodgeville Administrator John Humphries who collected only seven percent of the primary vote.
Topics of interest during the campaign have included the candidates' plans for low-performing schools, mental health challenges and teacher preparation.
