Friday on Lake Effect: Using Science To View Emotions, Scottish Fiddler

Friday on Lake Effect:

A Wisconsin brain researcher talks about a new way to view emotions using science – we speak with Richard Davidson of UW-Madison. Then, a novel from Minnesota writer Brad Zellar introduces us to an often-invisible part of the population: a man who’s on the margins of society. And acclaimed Scottish fiddler Alasdair Fraser joins us to talk about making music – and we get a small master class in the studio.

Guests:

  • Richard Davidson, UW-Madison
  • Brad Zellar, novelist
  • Alasdair Fraser, fiddler and composer
