The National Governors Association will convene its summer meeting August 1-4 in Milwaukee.
The organization announced the meeting location on Monday.
The NGA says the agenda will include discussions about a “variety of issues facing states.”
One of the items will involve innovations in workforce training and employment services; another will address challenges that people with disabilities face, in finding jobs.
Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker said in a statement that he’s looking “forward to showcasing Wisconsin to my colleagues.”
