If you think you don’t have anything in common with someone who skied 600 miles across Antarctica pulling a sled or who is one of the few people to have scaled all seven of the world’s tallest peaks, you’d be wrong.
Alison Levine wants you to embrace the leadership skills you might not know you even have. She uses her experiences to connect people with the leader inside of themselves.
"You don't have to be the best, fastest climber to make it to the top of Mount Everest." Instead, she says, you just have to be absolutely relentless.
Levine is not just an explorer, but a highly successful speaker on the lecture circuit, and author of the book, On the Edge: The Art of High Impact Leadership. Ahead of her appearance at UW-Milwaukee School of Continuing Education's Women Leaders Conference, Levin chatted with Lake Effect's Bonnie North.
