Man Accused of Threatening Federal Witness

A Milwaukee man could be sentenced to life in prison, if convicted on a charge of retaliating against a federal witness.

The U.S. Attorney's office has accused 35-year-old Kyle T. Collins of assaulting and threatening to kill a female who testified in Tyrone McMillian’s sex trafficking trial.

The female allegedly was one of four minors pimped by McMillian between 2006 and 2009.

The female says Collins grabbed her outside a nightclub and tried to drag her, by her hair, to a car. She says she was able to escape.

Michael Chernin, Collin's defense attorney, declined to comment to the Associated Press.
