Bob Murray was not planning to become a filmmaker. But a few years ago, the Milwaukee area banker took stock of the state of his dating life, and decided that his only choice was to go on a nationwide quest to find love, and make a movie in the process.
And the result is Date America, a movie that will make its film festival premiere at the Milwaukee Film Festival. It chronicles Murray’s trip across the country and his efforts to connect with potential mates he met through online dating services.
