Milwaukee Musician Has 'Head on Straight'

There is a lot of creativity emerging from the Milwaukee music scene.  There are scores of talented songwriters wherever you look - practically one in every backyard.

Heuer's band, Hello Death, will be performing this Saturday night at the Riverwest Public House.

Okay, maybe not every backyard.  But there was one recently in a sunny backyard in Bay View. Nathaniel Heuer is a rhythm guitarist and double bassist for the Milwaukee band Hello Death

Lake Effect contributor Sean Raasch caught up with Heuer for a series he’s producing on songwriting called "Sound Conversations."  Heuer talked about the process that led to a song called "Head On Straight."

Hello Death has an upcoming self-titled item. The band plays the Riverwest Public House  Saturday September 7th, and has its CD release show September 28th at the Pabst Theater.
