Nineteen year old Jeremiah M. Collins Jr. of Milwaukee was killed two days ago, while serving in Afghanistan. The Defense Dept. says it is investigating. Collins was a lance corporal in the Marines and assigned to Afghanistan's Helmond Province to support combat operations.
His unit's home base is at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.
