Monday on Lake Effect: Genome Sequencing, Empathy, Milwaukee Midget Racing

Monday on Lake Effect:

Just because you can get your genome sequenced, does that mean you should? We’ll talk about the ethics of genomics with one of the country’s leaders in the field. Later, what’s happened to empathy in our society? We’ll learn why it’s important and how we might get more of it into our lives. And we’ll meet a Milwaukeean who drove his MG Midget faster than anyone has ever driven one before.

Guests:

  • Robert Klitzman, Bioethics Program at Columbia University
  • Roman Krznaric, author, Empathy
  • Chris Conrad, Milwaukee Midget Racing
