Monday on Lake Effect: Milwaukee Finances, Opioid Addiction, 'The Fortress'

Monday on Lake Effect

An analysis of Milwaukee’s fiscal condition shows things are much better than they were, but there's a catch. Then, some are calling opioid addiction a public health crisis; two local groups are urging families to get involved with loved ones dealing with addiction. And Wisconsin native Danielle Trussoni talks about her new memoir, which tells the difficult story of how her marriage ended.

Guests:

  • Rob Henken, Public Policy Forum
  • Dr. Michael McNett, pain management physician, Aurora Healthcare; Kathy Schmitz, Medical Society of Milwaukee
  • Danielle Trussoni, author, The Fortress: A Love Story
  • "Adela," Mexican immigrant; Gianofer Fields, material culture contributor
