No Pay For Play, DNR Plans "Free" Days

The Wisconsin DNR is offering a "free" weekend to lure people back to state parks and trails, or try a new activity at no charge.The Department of Natural Resources will waive fishing, hiking and all-terrain vehicle fees on  June 1 and 2 in state parks and trails. Fishermen will not need a license to try their luck on any body of water in the state and ATV users  won't have to pay for trail passes.  Admission fees to state parks and forests will be waived on June 2.
