Plenty of Ideas for Spending Wisconsin Budget Surplus

Wisconsin is expected to take in $911 million more in revenue, than anticipated, according to the Legislative Fiscal Bureau.

Among the recommendations for using it:

Gov. Walker - cut property and income taxes

Rep. Assembly Speaker Vos - reduce technical college property taxes

Assembly Dem. Leader Barca - targeted tax relief, restore funding for job training and public schools

Senate Dem. Leader Larson - restore education funding

Wisconsin Taxpayers Alliance - buy down the state's ongoing deficit
