Last week, Apple made its latest major splash in the consumer electronics world when it unveiled the iPhone 6 and the Apple Watch.
That’s the company’s modus operandi. Since the days it was co-founded by young computer prodigies Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, Apple has been known for revolutionary design and innovation.
Throughout the years, the late Jobs got most of the headlines. He even had a movie made about his life. But Wozniak, known to many as Woz, played a major role at the company – designing and building its first two personal computer models before leaving full-time employment there to take on a variety of new ventures.
Steve Wozniak was the keynote speaker at Flying Car, an event sponsored by Innovation in Milwaukee. Lake Effect's Mitch Teich interviewed Wozniak at the Zelazo Center for the Performing Arts at UW-Milwaukee and spoke with him about his experience and role in innovation.
