Thursday on Lake Effect: Fit For You, Leaving the Milwaukee Ballet, and 'Life on the Loose'

Thursday on Lake Effect:

How a new look at old data could change the way we eat, especially when it comes to which fats we consider to be healthy. Then, on this month’s Fit For You segment, we’ll talk with writer and runner Jen Miller, whose NY Times article on her weight struggle hopes to debunk the idea of a “runner’s body”. We’ll catch up with three departing dancers from the Milwaukee Ballet, all of whom are sad to leave but who are all moving on to exciting new things. And writer Cari Taylor-Carlson discusses her new memoir, Life on the Loose.

Guests:

  • Daisy Zamora, co-author of “Re-evaluation of the traditional diet-heart hypothesis: analysis of recovered data from Minnesota Coronary Experiment.”
  • Fit for You: Jen Miller, author and runner
  • Marc Petrocci, Susan Gartell, Valerie Harmon – Milwaukee Ballet
  • Cari Taylor-Carlson, author
