Lake Effect's coffee series continues in honor of national coffee month, this time traveling to Kickapoo Coffee. Located in Milwaukee's Historic Third Ward, Kickapoo Coffee makes sustainability its mission while maintaining an atmosphere unique to most coffee shops.
"The vibe of the entire cafe will lead you to want to stick around a little bit more," says Kickapoo barista Joe Picchetti. "Whether it be just looking out the windows because there are so many right at the front of the cafe."
"Right now, the thing that is my favorite part is seeing how many people are tuned in to the little things that we're doing to obtain high levels of quality," says Kickapoo co-owner Scott Lucey.
