Wednesday on Lake Effect: Epigenetics, Viruses and Proteins, The Simpsons and Politics, Murder Novel

Wednesday on Lake Effect:

We learn about the field of epigenetics, which tells us our actions can have long term genetic consequences to future generations. Then, a team of physicists from UWM receive a National Science Foundation grant to study viruses and proteins at the molecular level. Later, we find out why young political scientists in the audience ought to watch The Simpsons. And we learn why writer Kathleen Ernst decided a Norwegian lefse pin would make a perfect murder weapon.
