Wednesday on Lake Effect: Mental Health Complex, Future of Journalism, Sonnet Slam, Michigan Farm

Wednesday on Lake Effect:

Governor Walker signed into law a bill that changes the oversight for Milwaukee County’s troubled mental health care system. We talk with the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reporter whose coverage of the mental health complex brought many of the issues facing it to light. Later, we’ll chat with former Milwaukee Journal reporter Kevin Merida about the future of journalism and his work as managing editor of the Washington Post. We’ll learn about the sonnet slam in honor of Shakespeare’s 450th birthday. And author Mardi Jo Link’s tale of trying save her northern Michigan farm.
