Wednesday on Lake Effect: The Visual Brain, Open Road Photos, Non-Traditional Grad, Carl Kasell

Wednesday on Lake Effect:

We walk with Dr. Shiela Reaves, whose research at UW-Madison focuses on the visual brain. Then, Minnesota photographer Alec Soth shares his strategy for finding subjects along the open road. We'll talk with a Milwaukee man who has decided that 59 is way too young to be thinking about retirement, and we remember NPR newscaster and Wait, Wait Don't Tell Me sidekick Carl Kassel, who died Wednesday.

Guests:

  • Shiela Reaves, UW-Madison
  • Alec Soth, photographer
  • Gonzo Couto-Lain, UW-Milwaukee engineering senior
  • Carl Kassel, NPR
