In Milwaukee, it's easy to get overwhelmed when choosing which summer festivals to attend. The Milwaukee Comedy Festival is celebrating "Ten Years of Funny!" August 6-8 .
Billed as Wisconsin's largest comedy event, the annual festival features performers from across the United States and Canada, and takes place at the Next Act Theatre, and for the first time at the Historic Turner Hall.
The festival begins August 5th with a kick-off event at Lakefront Brewery, and runs through this Sunday's headliner, Brian Posehn of The Comedians of Comedy and Fantastic Four.
Festival founder and producer Matt Kemple and festival communications director and comedian Greg Bach join WUWM's Rachel Owens to talk about the history and spirit of the festival, as well as some of the exciting new additions this year, including the Extra Laughs show series:
