Wednesday on Lake Effect:

We’ll learn about major work going on in the area of stem cell research. A Milwaukee scientist is the recipient of a major federal grant to study ways of reprogramming adult skin cells for use in treating liver disease. Later, the lessons we can draw today from the passenger pigeon’s extinction 100 years ago. We’ll hear about the Walker’s Point restaurant renaissance. And a preview of the Milwaukee Maker Faire, coming this weekend.
